I am interested in speaking engagements and am accepting research collaboration suggestions. I am currently working on many projects and have experience with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods design. I have specialization in participatory action research design, disability ethics, and netnography.

My primary research agenda involves social and cultural representations of diabetes as articulated by diabetes communities.

NOW: I have a PhD in disability studies from the University of Illinois, Chicago. I am currently studying the effects of online health community participation within a participatory community research framework.

PAST: I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012 with a degree in East Asian Religion and Philosophy. While a student at Cal, I developed a curriculum and facilitated a semester long course for other Cal students on coping mechanisms.
